Whether you are a prospective centre and want to apply for a license to offer on-demand CBEs, or are an existing licensed CBE centre looking for support, this section will provide you with everything you need.
We offer two different types of Computer-based exam (CBE); on-demand CBEs and session CBEs. This section provides you with details of our on-demand CBEs.
Session CBEs are available during the timetabled four exam session weeks and offer a host of benefits, such as increasing students' employability skills and providing a more practical and modern exam experience.
Flexibility
CBEs can be sat at any time of the year and re-sits can also be taken at any time. There is no restriction on the number of times a student can re-sit exams by CBE.
Instant results
The student's result is displayed on the computer screen at the end of the exam.
Results
Once the student's result has been uploaded by the CBE centre it is transferred to the student's ACCA account within 72 hours.
CBEs are available for the first seven exams within the Foundation-level awards, and Business and Technology (BT), Management Accounting (MA), Financial Accounting (FA), Corporate and Business Law (LW-ENG) and Corporate and Business Law (LW-GLO) from the ACCA Qualification.

Applications for a CBE Licence are submitted online.
Before you submit your application to become a licensed CBE centre, you must review the terms and conditions and technical requirements documents to ensure your centre is compliant.
All CBE Licences run until 31 March and must be renewed at the end of each licence period.
