How much does it cost?
The best part is that it’s all funded by the government and employers so for apprentices, it costs nothing. You can gain an award that feeds into one of the best paid and most highly respected professions without breaking the bank.
How long does it take?
The ACCA Accounting Technician (Level 4) apprenticeship takes a minimum of 12 months to complete.
The ACCA Professional Accountant (Level 7) apprenticeship is anticipated to take 36 months to complete.
What's involved?
During your apprenticeship, you’ll:
- work in a job receiving the same benefits as your colleagues
- work and learn alongside experienced finance professionals, building your network at the same time
- gain practical experience that both counts towards achieving the ACCA Qualification and will make your CV stand out against your peers with little or no experience
- build your accounting and finance skills as well as important soft skills like leadership and communication that employers are looking for. These can be applied to a range of roles across sectors at home and abroad
- receive off-the-job training and learning support accounting for approximately 20% of your apprenticeship
- take exams and complete a final assessment when you and your employer are ready
