The Education Landscape in England

ACCA is committed to developing forward-thinking professionals that the world needs, and as part of that commitment, we work to support members in navigating the complexities of the education landscape, overcoming talent challenges, and continuing to build sustainable organisations.

We are pleased to share the Education Landscape Guide and Index, which have been designed as a guide for employers to provide an understanding of the range of qualifications & training routes available in England and the benefits of engaging with these for SME businesses.

These resources have been created to support your day-to-day communications and can be embedded within your website and social channels. In addition to these materials, a range of complementary resources are also available on our website.

The Education Landscape Guide

This guide describes options for working with schools, colleges, universities, young people, and older learners and the benefits of doing so for your organisation. You can also find out how technical education is changing to better meet your skills needs – including apprenticeships, T Levels and Higher Technical Qualifications.

The Education Landscape Index

In the accompanying index, you can find out more about the business benefits of different opportunities, from providing workplace experiences for students and using your industry expertise to help design courses to training your new employees and existing staff.

*There is currently no equivalent of this for Scotland or Wales.

"It was fantastic to engage and support the students, with some of them adding me on TikTok to keep in touch and watching my videos in regards to GCSEs, A levels, universities and careers. "
