As an ACCA apprentice you’ll be earning an apprenticeship salary from day one.
Starting salaries
An accounting technician is a relatively well-paid role and you could expect to start on around £15,000.
How much you actually earn will depend on the job, location and a few other factors such as whether you:
- start straight after GCSEs
- start after A-levels
- already have a job.

Rewarding careers
Whatever your starting salary, an ACCA Apprenticeship is an entry route into a well-rewarded career. Accounting and finance is among the best paid sectors in business and industry and an apprenticeship is a great way to start off.
Trainee accountant
As a trainee accountant, after your apprenticeship, your salary could be around £25,000.
Fully qualified
If you go on to achieve our ACCA Qualification, in as little as three years you could be earning £50,000 as a newly qualified chartered accountant.
