ACCA and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS, now renamed to ISCA) ran a successful Joint Examination Scheme (JES) partnership that lasted 30 years. Under this scheme, ACCA students registered in Singapore were supported by the ICPAS student registry and have access to Singapore versions of the ACCA examination papers for taxation and law, the examination papers were also co-branded. More importantly, students who sat for the ACCA examinations under the JES can readily become members of both ACCA and ICPAS. ACCA has been working with many prominent associations and professional bodies over the years and the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) was one of our valued partners. Here’s an ACCA event for CFOs supported by the SICC back in 2006.

ACCA understands the value of partnerships and the tremendous value it can bring to our members. Here’s the then ACCA Chief Executive Allen Blewitt inking a Memorandum of Understanding with the Securities and Investment Institute.

Another valued partner of ACCA Singapore is the Singapore Computer Society. Both bodies have collaborated on many activities to bring technology to our business and finance leaders. One of the most prominent annual projects that we work together on is the SCS Tech3 Forum where a segment is dedicated to Accountancy and Finance and supported by ACCA Singapore and our members directly.

ACCA signed the MOI with the Singapore Computer Society in 2019 and we are still actively collaborating on events and projects till today.

As a global professional body, ACCA makes friends from around the world and often, we would be invited to support these friends when they come to Singapore. Here’s a 2020 event by the Indian Institute of Directors where ACCA proudly supported as partner and spoke at their event.

Speaking of partners, the Chartered Accountants of Australia, and New Zealand (CA ANZ), is of course one of ACCA Singapore’s closest ally. ACCA has a global strategic alliance with CA ANZ and our offices are co-located in many countries. In Singapore, CA ANZ shares our office and we organise a lot of activities together.
