ACCA is committed to conducting our activities in a way that protects our employees, members, students and any others who may be impacted by what we do from harm or injury.
We are committed to protecting our planet by reducing our carbon emissions and minimising any other environmental impact we have to achieve our goal of being carbon net zero with a reduction (of 50%) by 2030 and net zero by 2045.
ACCA will:
Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws to create a safe environment for our employees, members, students and anyone else affected by our activities.
Assign the required resources to proactively manage the health, safety and wellbeing of all employees, contractors and visitors who may be affected by our activities.
Ensure our employees are appropriately trained and competent.
Reduce our carbon emissions by conducting our activities in a way that achieves our UNSDG commitments, contributing to a safer and more sustainable future by monitoring and reacting to the risks and opportunities associated with climate change.
