Engagement letters and AML – webinars on the risks to your insurance cover
In partnership with Lockton, we’re running a pair of free webinars on risks to your insurance cover:
- Engagement letters: frequently asked questions and common mistakes
Available on demand
Learn why robust engagement letters and terms of business are essential to your firm’s success, and how common pitfalls can lead to costly outcomes. - AML: practical issues that can present risk to your insurance cover
7 April, 12.30pm
This is an AML talk with a difference. We are not going to talk about the specific regulatory regime, instead we are going to delve into the practical problems we come across when practitioners try to apply the regulations in their firms.
With issues such as: How do you make sure that all staff know how to apply the rules – is your policy clear? Do you have a process that is easy to follow (we use flow charts!)? How do you make sure that risk assessments are done, and saved to the files? (a big area of challenge by regulators), and of course, know your client - How do you manage the process of identifying who your client is and ensuring staff don’t do work for clients that you haven’t undertaken KYC for?
We will unpick several of the common problems we see with AML issues and suggest practical solutions that might work for you. There will also be time for questions.
Both sessions will be presented by Karen Eckstein of Karen Eckstein Ltd.
Join us live or watch on demand at your convenience – register now for either or both webinars. Each webinar will count for one unit of verifiable CPD where it is relevant to the work that you do.
