The world’s largest accounting and finance expo, Accountex London, is returning to Excel on 14-15 May.
Following a record-breaking 2024 event, over 11,500 attendees from across the profession are expected to reunite.
‘Accountex is the only event I never miss!’
‘Every year Accountex proves itself as THE one-stop-shop for the accounting and finance community. And this edition is no exception! There are lots of new features to help attendees leave with ideas that they can immediately put into practice and boost their careers.
‘As always, the education programme is packed with exclusive industry updates, and the exhibitor list is full of both established brands and up-and-coming start-ups,’ says Accountex portfolio director, Caroline Hobden.
‘I saved so much time comparing all my potential suppliers in one place’
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with suppliers, explore new product launches, and discover solutions designed to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
The exhibitor list includes 300 fintech companies, featuring industry leaders such as FreeAgent, Intuit QuickBooks, IRIS, Sage, TaxCalc, Wolters Kluwer and Xero, alongside new and emerging businesses like AY Business Law, Briefcase, Business Fitness, Accounting Flow, AuditBot and Adsum.
‘Without Accountex, I would never have come across a lot of the companies I am now working with. Growth would have been slower, and my systems would not have been as good. You just do not know what you’re missing out on until you have experienced it yourself,’ commented visitor Mark Freed, Accountant, Freed Accountancy.

‘I look forward to integrating new ideas into my career’
The CPD-accredited seminar programme will feature over 250 sessions across 13 theatres, covering a range of topics relevant to accounting, finance and bookkeeping professionals. Sessions will explore practice growth strategies, developments in AI, ESG, AML regulations, and important updates from HMRC relating to Making Tax Digital and the looming deadline.
Another staple at the show is the ACCA Thinkers Theatre, which will be hosting two full days of seminar sessions. Visitors will also be able to meet the ACCA team at their stand, hear about the latest finance career opportunities and get their questions answered by the experts (Stand 130).
‘Accountex was a brilliant and insightful day out. As a small practice owner, I had so many ideas and lightbulb moments while listening to industry professionals. Absolutely will be returning next year!’ said visitor Travus Wynne, Director, Happy Days MK Ltd.
‘The event was buzzing with outstanding speakers, wonderful networking opportunities, and plenty of fun!’
Accountex London also offers multiple networking opportunities, allowing attendees to build new connections and reconnect with colleagues. Key features include the Bookkeepers Basecamp, Sustainability Zone, Content Creation Clinic and after-show gatherings.
Popular features will return, such as the Ask the Accountants Podcast Pitstop, where hosts Johann Goree and Aaron Patrick will interview industry experts.
The 'Trees for Attendees' initiative, in partnership with Carma, will continue in 2025, with a tree planted for every event attendee. Since May 2023, over 27,000 trees have been planted. The aim is to help mitigate the event’s carbon footprint while supporting communities around the world.
Also returning is Watch This Sp_ce, the event's official Diversity, Equity and Inclusion partner. Their Quiet Room will offer visitors a space to decompress during the event.
‘My first time at Accountex this year and it was such a buzz – who knew that accounting and finance could be so much fun! The sessions were great and included some professional, inspirational speakers that I would have paid good money to see, but Accountex is free!’ said visitor Sarah Wheatley, Accounts Manager, ACE Scaffolding Contractors Ltd.
Accountex London will take place at Excel on 14-15 May 2025. Free registration is now open.
