Session overview
Companies find themselves alternating between walking a liquidity tightrope & watching cash lie idle on the balance sheet, as uncertainty & volatility dominate the markets.
Added to this, investors have begun to treat financial reports with an air of scepticism, relying more on cash performance than traditional measures as indicators of success.
CEO’s have always been focussed on profits & ROI, but these new realities are forcing CEO’s to be proactive in the management of cash, demanding a greater focus on working capital, adopting strategic principals to ensure the elements are aligned to the company’s market & product ambitions.
In this webinar, we’ll
- discuss some direct links between working capital management & business performance
- describe the key elements of working capital & the cross-functional management implications
- show the classical measures by element & in total, then look in detail at cash & working capital forecasting principals
We’ll wrap up with an overview & Q&A debate on where working capital management fits in today’s corporate world.
