Steven Connors - Director, Validera

Steve is a director at Validera Ltd - formerly known as HW Controls & Assurance Ltd. He has developed a particular expertise in information systems, governance, risk management and data privacy and works closely with ISACA.

Steve works with organisations to help them better understand their data and its value. This helps with the design and implementation of secure and effective data security and compliance strategies, specifically in relation to cyber and information security, data privacy and supply chain assurance programmes.

Through his roles in industry and consultancy, he has gained extensive experience of the importance of integrated governance, risk and compliance strategies and how critical it is to take a holistic approach to designing systems that first consider an organisation's people and processes before looking to implement technological solutions.
