Around the world – though in some regions faster than others – interest is growing in the concept of a ‘Living Wage’: a wage rate that should provide households with a minimum acceptable standard of living.
ACCA and the Living Wage Foundation have co-produced two reports that explore how countries can introduce a Living Wage.
The first, The Living Wage: a global overview of initiatives and regulations, provides an overview of global Living Wage developments. While the second report, The Living Wage: Core principles and global perspectives, presents thinking and views, compiled through a series of multi-stakeholder roundtables that took place around the world, related to the setting and application of a Living Wage.
