New Zealand corporate and company law
For our members who wish to gain the NZICA (New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants) qualification, you are required to gain two NZ Law papers, with an NZ Tertiary institution, before you can apply for Provisional NZICA membership.
Two Universities offer these papers by distance learning. They are the Open Polytechnic and Massey University
Open Polytechnic
For the Open Polytechnic, our members will enrol for papers 71110 Introduction to Law and 71210 Corporate and Finance Law. On the Payment page of the form, simply enter the contract ID code ACC1. These papers are available via distance learning only.
Massey University
For Massey University, members will enrol for paper 155.210 Commercial Law and 155.203 Law of Business Organisations.
Enrolment
ACCA members can enrol onto these papers under a Certificate of Proficiency (Business) programme [code: 1001]. They will need to submit a waiver application and send in a verified copy of all official academic records from previous studies. These papers can be taken via distance learning and face to face.
