In Luxembourg, foreign certificates and diplomas, with the exception of certain Belgian and Dutch higher education diplomas, are not automatically recognised. The equivalence is recognised at the holder's request, subject to specific conditions.

If you have acquired knowledge and skills during your professional career or through training courses, during internships/voluntary work, it is possible to have these recognised officially by means of the validation of non-formal and informal learning.
