Policy and research officer Pauline Schu introduces findings from a one-year global study into corporate culture and the drivers of organisational behaviour, conducted with support from the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
Conclusions from this research aim to provide boards with innovative guidance on the path to cultural assessment and change.
Looking at a set of 14 ‘trade-offs’, a new framework is proposed as a consistent approach allowing for a meaningful dialogue to occur at board level and a journey towards improving and strengthening corporate culture throughout the organisation to begin.
