Ahead of the publication of the 2022/23 Scottish Budget announcement on Thursday 9 December, ACCA wrote to the Scottish Government highlighting key asks for the forthcoming spending plans.
With an anticipated focus on Scotland’s transition to a net-zero economy, we highlighted the key role of accountants in supporting organisations to adapt, as well as calling for expanded funding to upskill our workforce.
In addition, in advance of the publication of the draft Welsh budget for 2022/23 on Monday 20 December, ACCA submitted a response to a consultation by the Senedd Finance Committee on priorities for the budget.
