Boost your career by studying at a time and pace that suits you with Oxford Brookes University's Global MBA programme. You will study the latest in management thinking and be able to apply your learning to your workplace. Enrol on this blended learning course for a flexible learning environment that is both challenging and supportive.
The Oxford Brookes Global MBA is a blended programme and you choose how you study. MBA modules can be studied online* or intensively on-campus for one-week periods or a combination of both. This gives you the flexibility to fit the MBA programme around your work and personal commitments. In addition, you experience learning and interaction with our MBA community both face-to-face and online, which reflects today's dynamic global working environment.
Wherever you are in the world, you are supported by full access to the online university resources with further support from dedicated tutors and MBA administrators.
You can interact with fellow students and tutors from around the world through the Virtual Campus. You also have opportunities to study on a face-to-face basis if you choose to do so.
You should be prepared to devote around 15 hours per week to studying. However, the amount of time you spend studying will vary depending on how you choose to study, on your schedule, topic interests and ability.
Face-to-face time provides you with the opportunity to work as part of a team and discuss relevant issues with your peers. Dates are publicised well in advance to allow you time to make your travel arrangements.
Face-to-face time will include two three-day residential hotel-based workshops and one six-day on-campus module in Oxford. These are available at various times throughout the two-year period. You can choose to take these 12 days in a row, or bite-sized blocks of three and six days.
Studying and completing an MBA shows a great level of commitment to your continued learning and development. The Oxford Brookes Global MBA is an internationally-recognised course of professional development that is designed to enhance your current capabilities and challenge you with new skills and concepts.
If you are an ACCA member achieving your continuing professional development (CPD), the global MBA may fully meet the 40 unit CPD requirement during each year of study. If you have exceeded your CPD requirements in the final year of study, you can carry forward up to 21 units of your Oxford Brookes Global MBA onto the following year.
