Josefina Movillo,
Policy Manager – EEMA and UK
Josefina is the Policy Manager for the UK and EEMA region, which comprises Europe, Eurasia, the Americas, and the Middle East.
She is a public policy professional with experience in government, international arbitration, and human rights. She is passionate about using her skills to make a positive impact on the world. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
Josefina previously served as Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Zapallar, Chile, where she directed strategic coordination between internal departments and developed and implemented policies on numerous policy areas. She also led community and stakeholder engagement, focusing on increasing citizen participation, and facilitating collaborative decision-making processes.
Prior to that, Josefina served as a policy advisor to the Cabinet of the President of Chile, where she advised the President on diverse policy issues and coordinated 24 ministries and several governmental agencies for effective policy development and implementation.
Josefina holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
