The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) – which is part of the government’s Communication Headquarters (GCHQ) – has launched new tools to verify your cybersecurity.
This free government service for UK organisations performs a range of simple online checks to identify common vulnerabilities in your public-facing IT.
All checks are remote, without the need to install software and uses the same kind of publicly available information as cyber criminals use to find easy targets.
Two tools to check whether your IP address and web browser are safe from hacking are now available, with tools to check your email and website security to be launched later.
Verify that your systems are secure within minutes.
A demo IP address of 192.0.2.1 can be entered to show the types of vulnerabilities that the tool with identify with recommendations of how to secure the listed vulnerability.
