Joint Examination Scheme Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)
Under these T&Cs, reference to ‘we’ or ‘us’ means ACCA and ‘you’ means the student(s).
- ACCA works in partnership with national accountancy bodies to deliver joint examinations in several countries. We partner with several national accountancy bodies to provide globally accepted qualifications, with local recognition and relevance.
- Under these partnerships students register with ACCA and (where applicable) the national partner, thereby satisfying the exam criteria for membership of both bodies simultaneously.
- If you reside in a country in which we operate a Joint Examination Scheme (JES) and wish to register onto the ACCA Qualification, Foundations in Accountancy qualification or Advanced Diploma in Finance and Business in Russian language (ADFBR); in addition to registering with ACCA, you may be required to register with the JES national body and pay the requisite JES body’s registration fee to complete your registration. You should contact the JES national body directly to do this. Information on registration requirements applicable to you can be found here.
- If sections 3(ii) or (iii) are not applicable to you, you will be enrolled to the relevant JES on completion of your registration with ACCA.
- You are responsible for maintaining your student registered status with ACCA and (if applicable) the JES national body, by keeping up to date with annual subscription payments and clearing any outstanding fees regularly to avoid the risk of removal from both registers.
- As part of your JES registration, you accept that ACCA will share your personal data, including data on exam results, subscription payment status and notification of any disciplinary findings made against you with the relevant JES national body. For more information on how ACCA will use your data, please see the Data and Privacy section above.
- ACCA may amend these T&Cs if we have a valid reason. We will contact you to let you know if we intend to do this by giving you 14 days’ notice. You can contact us by using our contact form.
